IQL MATERIAL REFERENCE: 181 

DESCRIPTION

• 181 is a high quality hypalon rubber specifically compounded for use as a plant lining Material. 

APPLICATION
(FOR SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS CONTACT IQL LIMITED).

• 181 is used for a variety of applications, being resistant to many acids and common chemicals, and has a good resistance to oxidising chemicals.

TEMPERATURE
(FOR SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS CONTACT IQL LIMITED).

• Depending upon application: -20 to 130 deg C.

VULCANISATION TIME

• 1.5 hours at 50-psi steam (148 deg C).
  Site vulcanisation can be achieved by vulcanising for 12 hours at 100 deg C. preferably by filling with water and boiling.

SPECIFIC GRAVITY

• 1.67.

COLOUR

• Black.

HARDNESS

• 65 to 75' shore “A”.

STORAGE

• The material should be stored out of direct sunlight in a cool and dry location. Each roll should be supported through the centre tube. For details of storage for rubber-lined equipment refer to IQL Limited.

• If stored below 20 deg C: 1 month minimum
