IQL MATERIAL REFERENCE: 158 

DESCRIPTION

• 158 is a high quality nitrile rubber specifically compounded for use as a plant lining Material.

APPLICATION
(FOR SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS CONTACT IQL LIMITED).

• 158 is used for a variety of applications, being resistant to many acids and common chemicals, and most importantly resistant to greases and oils.

TEMPERATURE
(FOR SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS CONTACT IQL LIMITED).

• Depending upon application: -20 to 110 deg C.

VULCANISATION TIME

• 1.5 hours at 50-psi steam (148 deg C).
  NOTE SAFETY AND HANDLING RECOMMENDATIONS.

SPECIFIC GRAVITY

• 1.25.

COLOUR

• Black.

HARDNESS

• 52 to 62' shore “A”.

STORAGE

• The material should be stored out of direct sunlight in a cool and dry location. Each roll should be supported through the centre tube. For details of storage for rubber-lined equipment refer to IQL Limited.

SHELF LIFE

• If stored below 20 deg C: 1 month minimum
