IQL MATERIAL REFERENCE: 128 

DESCRIPTION

• 128 is a high quality soft natural rubber specifically compounded for use as a plant lining material which will be in contact with foodstuffs.

APPLICATION
(FOR SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS CONTACT IQL LIMITED).

• 128 is used in applications where the lining will be in contact with foodstuffs. The material is formulated in accordance with BGA recommendation XX1 categories 1-4 and the FDA regulations, section 1877.2600

TEMPERATURE
(FOR SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS CONTACT IQL LIMITED).

• Depending upon application: -20 to 70 deg C. The material can withstand higher temperatures than 70 deg C but will result in a reduced working life.

VULCANISATION TIME

• 1.5 hours at 50-psi steam (148 deg C).

• 1.31.

COLOUR

• White.

HARDNESS

• 45 to 55' shore “A”.

STORAGE

• The material should be stored out of direct sunlight in a cool and dry location. Each roll should be supported through the centre tube. For details of storage for rubber-lined equipment refer to IQL Limited.

SHELF LIFE

• If stored below 20 deg C: 1 month minimum
