IQL MATERIAL REFERENCE: 116s 

DESCRIPTION

• 116s is a high quality soft natural SILICA free rubber specifically compounded for use as a plant lining Material for application on site. IQL use this extensively for re-lining Water Treatment vessels and equipment on site especially for the microchip industry where it is critical that silica is not present.

APPLICATION
(FOR SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS CONTACT IQL LIMITED).

• 116s is used for a variety of applications associated with Water Treatment plant, where the size of the plant or its location prohibits vulcanisation in an autoclave.

TEMPERATURE
(FOR SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS CONTACT IQL LIMITED).

• Depending upon application: -20 to 70 deg C. The material can withstand higher temperatures than 70 deg C but will result in a reduced working life.

VULCANISATION TIME

• 12 hours at 100 deg C (live steam).

• 1.52.

• Black.

HARDNESS

• 63 to 73' shore “A”.

STORAGE

• The material should be stored out of direct sunlight in a cool and dry location. Each roll should be supported through the centre tube. For details of storage for rubber-lined equipment refer to IQL Limited.

• If stored below 20 deg C: 1 month minimum
