IQL MATERIAL REFERENCE: 115s 

DESCRIPTION

• 115s is a high quality soft natural rubber specifically compounded for use as a plant lining Material for site application.

APPLICATION
(FOR SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS CONTACT IQL LIMITED).

• 115s is used for a variety of applications where the size of plant or its location prohibits vulcanisation in an autoclave. The material being resistant to many acids and common chemicals, whilst still providing good abrasion resistance. Due to its light colour it can be observed easier through sight glass inspection windows.

TEMPERATURE
(FOR SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS CONTACT IQL LIMITED).

• Depending upon application: -20 to 70 deg C. The material can withstand higher temperatures than 70 deg C but will result in a reduced working life.

VULCANISATION TIME

• 8 hours at 100 deg C (live steam) ---/--- 1.5 hours at 50-psi steam (148 deg C).

SPECIFIC GRAVITY

• 1.20.

COLOUR

• Tan.

HARDNESS

• 37 to 47' shore “A”.

STORAGE

• The material should be stored out of direct sunlight in a cool and dry location. Each roll should be supported through the centre tube. For details of storage for rubber-lined equipment refer to IQL Limited.

SHELF LIFE

• If stored below 20 deg C: 1 month minimum
