IQL MATERIAL REFERENCE: 109s 

DESCRIPTION

• 109s is a site vulcanising high quality soft natural rubber specifically compounded for use as a plant lining Material. IQL use this extensively for re-lining of Water treatment vessels and equipment on site.

APPLICATION
(FOR SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS CONTACT IQL LIMITED).

• 109s is used for a variety of applications where size of the plant or its location prohibits vulcanisation in an autoclave. The material being resistant to many acids and common chemicals, whilst still providing a high degree of flexibility.

TEMPERATURE
(FOR SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS CONTACT IQL LIMITED).

• Depending upon application: -20 to 60 deg C.

VULCANISATION TIME

• 8 hours at 100 deg C (live steam)---/--- 1.5 hours 50-psi steam (148 deg C).
  NOTE SAFETY AND HANDLING RECOMMENDATIONS.

SPECIFIC GRAVITY

• 1.54.

COLOUR

• Black.

HARDNESS

• 60 to 70' shore “A”.

STORAGE

• The material should be stored out of direct sunlight in a cool and dry location.Each roll should be supported through the centre tube. For details of storage for rubber-lined equipment refer to IQL Limited.

SHELF LIFE

• If stored below 20 deg C: 1 month minimum
